George Rafeedie loves bringing people together to achieve things they couldn’t accomplish on their own. One way George achieves this purpose is through his story marketing agency, Tell Your Story Brand Communications Inc. (Tell Your Story).

George started Tell Your Story, based in the Chicago area, in 2009 after several years at agencies and in corporate roles, including starting the Chicago office of what is now Merkle B2B (Dentsu). Prior to that, George spent a few years in corporate PR and marketing roles with Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Arthur Andersen.

Prior to that, George started his career at a PR firm and B2B marketing agency in Cincinnati. In between, he received a masters in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University’s Medill School. His undergrad degree in journalism and PR is from Ohio University.

George is known for other entrepreneurial initiatives that help bring people together. In addition to Tell Your Story, George is a shareholder and Chief Marketing Officer of microlearning software platform, The Learnery, and its parent company Titan Health Corporation. George is also the founder of Chicago North Shore’s first coworking space, CoWorkers Wilmette, which merged with Enclave Coworking in 2023. He is the founder, along with this family, of lifestyle brand, Club Wilmette, and a shareholder/investor in other small businesses including cold-pressed juice company, Twisted Alchemy, and restaurants Pit & Tap, Pescadero and Whistle.

Besides telling stories, George loves mentoring, networking, speaking, advising and adjunct teaching (Northwestern, DePaul, Loyola over the years). George is very active with marketing associations and alumni clubs, most notably he sat on the Board of Directors of the Business Marketing Association Chicago for eight years. George is also involved with many local initiatives where he resides in Wilmette, IL. George also bartends from time-to-time and hosts a local monthly karaoke night. He is also a social member at a local Crossfit gym, and plays tennis weekly.

George’s better half, Karen Rafeedie, is in the ad biz on the creative side and keeps George honest and motivated. After years as a creative director at various agencies, Karen is freelancing and an aspiring children’s picture book author. She is also the golfer of the family.

George has two ever-growing sons who keep him proud. His pug dog, Nellie, brings him joy.
