Let’s Tailgate in Evanston will be my number one Northwestern speciality merchandise shop moving forward. Again, another Evanston shop impresses me with their customer service.
As you know, it’s the start of the football season. So I decided to get a NU Wildcat flag and pole for the front of my SouthCentral home. My wife did not approve, but I put it up anyway. Well, I hated it. My wife was actually going to let me keep it, but what I bought looked cheap ($50 with the poll!) and wasn’t that easy to put together. So I decided to take it back thinking I may get store credit at best. Well not only did they give me cash without question, but they let me return it without the receipt!

P.S. Ran into Northwestern president, Morton O. Shapiro, at Tailgate getting his gear on. Seems like a real good guy.
