The Sprinkler
So I decided to SHOP WILMETTE and bypass the Lowes for my sprinkler needs. I ended up at my trusted ACE Hardware on Wilmette Avenue, just west of Green Bay Road.
I realized quickly that there are many types of sprinklers – stationary, rotary, oscillating, pulsating or impulse and traveling. I’m not sure which one I bought; but it was on sale for $5.99 and seems to do a good job. Although my lawn is still brown. Once it turns green, I may post a photo. Stay tuned.
The sprinkler doubles as a fun-filled, outdoor activity for our two-year old – as well as – other neighboring children.
We have those brown spots too…Scott and Libby told me they’re GRUBS. True? All I know is that it motivated Peter to buy some grub killer today and sprinkle it on the lawn. I’ll keep you posted if it works.
