Block Party Postponed
As my loyal readers know, we were on vacation last year during the South Central summer block party. So this year we were very much anticipating the 2008 edition. Especially since there was going to be a cupcake recipe contest, in addition to the BBQ rib cook-off.
Bad news, though. The summer block party has been postponed until early September. This summer, so far, has proven too busy for organizers. All is not bad, though. I now have more time to pitch and plan for my hot dog eating contest idea. Plus, line up guest bloggers to post throughout the day. Stay tuned.
