Fire House Open House
A nice time was had by all a few Saturday goes at the Wilmette Fire Department Open House. All the trucks were on display (good thing there were no fires), children got to squirt the hose, underwater gear was there to see and feel, and balloons and plastic fire hats were given to kids.
We must have seen at least 4 neighbors there, plus other friends from across the village. It was the place to be. We then went to the Village Center and enjoyed a hotcake breakfast. Great morning in South Central.
