A fine pre-block-party party, indeed. We couldn’t stay long, but enjoyed the company of the neighbors of South Central. I encourage all who attend the block party on Saturday to post their observations of the day. Let us know who won the rib cook-off, how many years have you attended the party, and if the band was any good.

I had wine yesterday evening with a few moms of the neighborhood as we watched our children frolic up and down the sidewalk enjoying the South Central sunset.

Went to Lowes last night and bought an umbrella and umbrella base for the patio table we bought off the previous owners of the house. I hope it matches.
