Wilmette Holiday Parade
The kid and I enjoyed the Wilmette Holiday parade this morning. It started at the El stop at 4th and Linden and made its way up to Central Avenue and then headed west to the Village Center. Brownie and Girl Scout Troops, village workers, high school bands, elves (scared the kid to death), dudes on Harleys and of course Santa Claus entertained the crowd of a few hundred. Candy was thrown and people waived. A good time was had by all.
